A Black and White Tie Affair - Annual Service Auction

The annual Service Auction hosted by the Los Angeles 1st Ward, Santa Monica 3rd Ward, and Westdale 2nd Ward is here!! This fabulous "Black and White Tie Affair" is hosted every year to raise money for the local LDS and non-LDS communities.

We still need donated items from you for the silent and live auctions! Auction items can be services, goods, or big-ticket items that will raise money for our great cause. For example, delicious baked goods, guitar lessons, car washes, professional artwork, tickets to Disneyland or sporting events, flights to Israel, or stays in private vacation homes have all been great donations in the past.

Please follow this link to fill out a donation form. You can absolutely donate multiple items. Just fill out the form again for each new thing you want to donate. Then, come to a truly selfless night on November 12th at 6 pm at the Santa Monica Stake Center, ready and willing to purchase these great items for this even better cause!

Proceeds from the auction have traditionally gone toward purchasing Christmas gifts for needy families in our stakes. Two years ago, the Los Angeles 1st and Santa Monica wards began a partnership with the Pilgrim Baptist Church (called One Heart Many Hands LA). Members of their community will also benefit from this year's proceeds.

The La Cienega Ward has also been invited to provide dinner for the event to help them raise funds for their youth program. Items priced at $2-4 will be available.

Love, your activities committee
