FHE - Bonfire at Dockweiler

This week for FHE, we're again teaming up with other YSA and MSA wards from far and wide for a beach bonfire at Dockweiler. (We'll be at the furthest north fire pits.) So get ready to mix and mingle with the other singles from G7, SM3, LA1, Northridge, El Dorado, and South Bay. Invite your friends and grab your beach chair, sweater (it will get a bit chilly), frisbee, a bag of marshmallows and a wire hanger. This is an extravaganza you won't want to miss!

The simplest way to get to the beach is to find your way from the 405 or 110 to the 105 West. Follow the 105 all the way to where it ends and turns into Imperial Highway, and then simply follow Imperial until it ends at the intersection with Vista Del Mar.

For parking, you can either cross Vista Del Mar, put your car in the Dockweiler Beach parking lot and pay the fee (and then make the rather substantial walk up to the northern firepits), or you can park for free up on Vista Del Mar: just turn right off of Imperial Highway when you get to Vista Del Mar and start hunting for a space.

The beach and parking lot close promptly at 10PM, and parking enforcement folks start ticketing immediately, so be sure to be in your car and on your way at the stroke of 10.
